It is the 30th day of the ninth month, of the two thousand and fifteen year, anno domini.
Tomorrow, the month of October commences. This is it, people. The future is now.
Now, I'm a big fan. I know he doesn't get here, technically, until October 21st at 4:29pm. Buuut, he's a time traveler. Who's to say he couldn't hop back anytime during this month? Am I right, or am I right? Right. Right. Right.
October is just around the corner, and this gets me juiced up for two reasons. One: Halloween! It's my favorite holiday. And, two: This October is a special one.
It's this October that Marty McFly, '80s teenager, arrives to the future...
Back to the Future Part II came out when I was but a kiddo, and the movie captivated my mind like no other. The future looked so COOL. And, in two days, that month that was once the future will be the present!
To archive this historic... futuristic?... occasion, I am creating a blog where I plan on journaling each day of this month by uploading a photo of my everyday life, just one photo a day - I want to remember what I was doing in October 2015, the month Marty McFly came to visit the future. And, in each photo, somewhere, there will be none other than Marty McFly himself. Allow me to explain in the video below (this is my first blog. It has taken me a little bit of time to catch up to this fancy-pants futuristic technology we have, so bear with me... An internets, eh?):
